                MINUTEMAN LEVEL

You’ll do all of the things the Patriots do, and then kick your activism level UP a notch or two.  You’ll get together with others and hit the streets – forging your own strategies and determining your own direction.  You’re ready for a rally at a moment’s notice, and are considered part of a rapid-response team - prepared to counter-protest if the need arises.

              •       Find a friend or neighbor to be your Tea Party partner…
….it’s always easier to work in pairs.  Planning, strategizing and organizing goes much more smoothly when you have a partner with whom to exchange thoughts and ideas.

              •       Form your own small Tea Party group….
….become a “group within a group” under the larger Staten Island Tea Party organization.  Copy these pages and pass them on to the most engaged in your group.  Duplicate yourself: create new leaders.

              •       Plan weekly document drops...
….organize leafleting campaigns at a different supermarkets, shopping centers, and train stations each weekend, or plan an afternoon at the ferry terminal.  We’ll supply you with the flyers or brochures as needed, if you supply the manpower and the willpower to get it done.
              •         Institute a charitable donation effort . . .
…organize your own Meet and Greet events, in conjunction with the Staten Island Tea Party, to collect charitable donations for Project Homefront, Toys for Tots, Project Hospitality, or your personal favorite charity - organizers will be happy to attend such events if scheduling permits.  The Staten Island Tea Party will be asking for charitable contributions at all of its future events, but you can be a big force-multiplier.  Working as political activists is only ONE way we can make our city and our country better.
              •         Introduce the Staten Island Tea Party to other groups, businesses or organizations …
…that you may be involved in.  Small business associations, civic organizations, social groups, veterans groups…if you are a member, act as a liaison between the Staten Island Tea Party and your group.  Approach like-minded members and leaders of your group and see if you can bring them onboard.  We will work closely with you, and the organizers Staten Island Tea Party are willing to address any group on your behalf.

              •         Make your best effort to attend rallies…
...as your schedule permits.  If you can, volunteer to help with set-up beforehand and cleanup afterward.  Help to transport those who may not have access to cars, or for whom public transportation is not an option.
